Urban Legend

Now legend has it that in the small town of Batu Pahat, many a strange things have been seen and told. But none are stranger than the True and Untarnished Tale of the Cat. The old folks has it that the Cat was once a living creature, a strange and convoluted one true enough, but human nevertheless. It was said that the Cat was cursed by the spirit of a Dat'o, for daring to take his name in vain. The Cat was cast upon the earth where he shall forever roam the grounds of the Hospital, for such was its nature when living.
Folks say the Cat still haunt the town of Batu Pahat, its apperance often a tiding of bad things to come. In fact, many an innocent mortal have succumb to its vicious bite and lying wounded upon the ground, has their very soul sucked out. No one knows why the Cat choose to take souls, perchance because it has none of its own.
So let the tale be a warning to wary travellers, to have a care when traipsing through the halls on Oncall nights. The Cat is liable to materialize then, looming behind one, bloated with stolen souls. The screams from victims past, echo from its jaws as a single word.."ma..."
